Fawn Sorgi

Mrs. Sorgi was born in Waco, Texas but was grew up in Texas, Kentucky, New Mexico and Arizona. She has a Bachelor of Music Education degree from West Texas A&M University. Mrs. Sorgi has eleven years of teaching experience which have included Orchestra and Band and has spent the last seven years in Lewisville ISD at Lakeview Middle School. She has also had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Zamora and Mr. Link before coming to McKinney ISD.

Mrs. Sorgi was voted Teacher of the Year for the 2005-2006 school year after being runner up the year before and has been named three times to Who's Who Among American Teachers. She has also served as the Region 24 Secretary / Computer Software Administrator in addition to adjudicating across the state and being a clinician in the North Texas area. Memberships include TMEA as well as TMAA. Mrs. Sorgi’s orchestras have received consistent Sweepstakes awards at UIL contests as well as superior ratings and honors at numerous other competitions around the state.  

Mrs. Sorgi’s primary campus will be Dowell Middle School. She is extremely excited about working with such an amazing team of directors!
